[Ion hesitates at Waver's door...mostly because he's not sure if he's the sort of man who would prefer to be alone or not, when he's feeling the way that he certainly must be. But, he came this far, so he finds his resolve and knocks softly.]

[ he laughs, but it's not out of happiness. instead, it's out of the bitter irony that he was so easily read through. despite his constant insults he...truly does care for everyone in this place.

he groans, annoyed with himself. ]

It's a pain in the ass.

[Ion carefully finds himself a edge of the bed to sit on, giving a small, tired laugh as well.]

It can be tiring...but not caring at all would just feel so empty.

[He pauses, then.]

It's okay...to not feel well or strong or put-together right now. You're hurting, too.
