Week 0, Sunday Post-Execution - Belph

[It's been a wild weekend. Waking up unconscious when murder is afoot, causing an apparent panic over having a body double, getting a vote for execution (if only one), and now watching someone executed...it's a lot to process.

He's usually pretty aware of his surroundings, but, lost in thought, as Ion turns a corner he just barely stops himself from crashing into Belph, and looks up with an apologetic expression.]

I'm terribly sorry!

Don't worry about it... uh, which Ion are you?

[This is his life now. A small part of him misses the days that he had to lie about his identity but there was at least only one of him around.]

The "passing out" one, is what I think they were calling me.

... You know what, that'll be a mouthful to say each time. Can I just call you Fonny?

Sure, I don't mind at all.

[It's kind of a silly nickname, but you know what, at this point he'll take "Fonny" over "Passing Out Ion" or "Ion the Older" since that's not as correct as people are assuming it to be and boy does it make him uncomfortable.]

Your name is Belph, wasn't it? If we've spoken, you were speaking with the other one of us. I'm really sorry for any confusion.

Nope, he and I have never spoken either. Congrats! You're the first.

Oh! I see!

[Wow they've both been rude. Or maybe you're just too popular to get a hold of, Belph.]

In that case, despite the happenings of this weekend, it's very nice to meet you!

You're awfully a chipper for a kid who was passed out.

I guess I'm just a little used to it...

[Ahaha...]

Not really in this context, but, I'm just thankful to still be around. If each of us that was taken out of our rooms had been left prone for a good portion of the night, we were all equally vulnerable to an attack.

[axilium]

... I mean, true, you were lucky—but that you're used to it is pretty concerning.

I was born with a weak constitution...I've always become incredibly faint without much provocation, though having it happen while I'm already lying down is new.

[He shrugs sadly.]

It's an uncomfortable way to live, but there's not anything that I can really do to change it. I just try to keep my limits in mind as best as I can.

[Still.]

You think so?

[He doesn't seem to take it as a joke.]

He's really nice, so I'd enjoy spending more time with him! It does seem as if there are a few of us here with preexisting conditions. I guess we're a little unlucky.

Maybe people will take pity on you? You might as well try to use it to your advantage.
