Week 1, Wednesday - Ion

["Do you have a moment" has turned into Ion's stock greeting with his Original, so when he approaches him in the Earth common room, he just comes out with it.]

I thought I should let you know about this right away.

[The "this" he's referring to being the series of scars that's running down one side of his face and dips below his collar, suggesting it trails down his body where it can't be seen.]

It seemed wrong for you to discover it organically when we next run into one another accidentally.

[Ion gives a soft laugh as he takes a seat in one of the other chairs, his smile mirthless. It makes him look, despite the disfigurement, more like his Original than ever.]

A way for us to be told easily apart from one another.

[ Someone else had asked him how he felt, looking into a mirror whenever he saw the other Ion.

This is honestly the first time since he's been here that he thought such an expression could even apply. ]

This wishing well has quite the unfortunate streak of impertinence to it. I suppose we can only have expected so much, here...
